The team at Placement Solutions take great care in choosing the most appropriate child-care staff and home managers for each individual client. 

We are keenly aware that your children and home are the most precious and personal aspects and assets of your life, and you need to feel secure that they are in competent, compassionate and responsible hands.

All our staff are thoroughly screened and reference checked, with current Police Clearances/Working with Children Checks.

Each family is different, with entirely different needs, so as an organisation we work with you to select and refine your criteria and job description to get exactly the help you need. This is why we offer individual home visits to all clients, to ensure that the needs of all parties are met.

Our nannies are available on a temporary or permanent basis, either living in or out, and are all personally interviewed.

Our premium Carers also complete comprehensive, specifically-designed application and child-care aptitude assessment forms.

They must have at least two years child care experience and a current first aid certificate.

These are extensive as we expect the best from our Carers. We only interview and register Qualified or Experienced Nannies and Maternity Nurses.

We work closely with Carer and Client to protect the rights of both nannies and clients, and to this end we provide home visits in Melbourne and Agency Client Contracts for both Client and Carer. Placement Solutions can also advise on government requirements for sick pay, holiday pay, etc.

We thoroughly reference-check all of our staff, and all Carers are required to hold a current Police Clearance/Working with Children Check. Two years experience as well as current Level 1 First Aid qualifications are essential.

Remember we are an Approved Government In-home Care Provider.  

That means that if your family meets the eligibility criteria then we can offer you both the Childcare Benefit Rebate (CCB) at the time of utilising the service and the ATO out-of-pocket expenses rebate. This is not available to those using only Registered Care.

Following a request from Nannies and Clients to clarify standards for live-in nannies, the following are minimum acceptable standards as adopted by Placement Solutions and as worked out in conjunction with Victorian Wage-line. 

These standards have also been worked out in conjunction with the guidelines from the International Nanny Association and are in keeping with the provision of a fair and reasonable work agreement.

This is a directive of the Australian Association of Nanny Agencies of which we are a founding member.

Placement Solutions is a Fully Approved Childcare Service - instead of merely being a Registered Service.

ATO AND CHILD CARE REBATES APPLY TO IN-HOME CARE CLIENTS and not to those who privately or use a registered Nanny Agency

We stress that if you are eligible for in-home care then you are eligible for in-home care rebates right now.

As of July 2007 these vary from $4.49 per child per hour to the minimum of $0.89 per child per hour. You are also eligible for the ATO tax rebate of up to $7500 per child as of Alp key election promise providing you are linked with us. All those eligible for Family Assistance from the Federal Australian Government under the revised guidelines effective on 1/7/2000 are able to claim the rebate through this Agency.

Placement Solutions offer Permanent Part-Time and Full Time in-home childcare services. Our nannies are available to either live-in or live-out. Permanent is classified as any job that is longer than 6 months and the Nanny will be employed by you .We also offer payroll services through the Agency to make this easier for you .

We also offer casual care days or nights and short term care for up to 2 weeks .

Placement Solutions offer in-home care, government subsidised to eligible families. We have nannies available on a casual or temporary basis.
