Placement Solutions offers training to those childcare workers who are experienced but not technically qualified.

This training is Certificate 3 in Children's Services, a government accredited nationally recognised training programme. This training is undertaken in your own time but means our Carers are up-to-date with all aspects of care.

We are strongly committed to training more great Australian Nannies and see this as a valuable way to help the current shortage of Childcare workers in the country.

We also relish the opportunity to train sole parents going back into the workforce under the new government 'Welfare to Work' Program.

We meet the clients in their homes and provide training, backup and support to all our Nannies aka In-home Childcare Educators.  We are currently looking for:-

• Temporary Full-time
• Permanent Full-Time (live in and out)
• Permanent Part-Time

Always actively recruiting casual and temporary Nannies, Night Nannies and permanent Nannies.

Other positions are available for casual day and temporary live in.  New positions are coming in daily for 2013.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience, qualifications and job requirements i.e. night nannying etc. We pay top rates for great Nannies.

Placement Solutions is the Premiere Melbourne Agency.  Established in 1988 Placement Solutions have been an inaugural approved Government In-home Care provider since 2001.

Our Child Carers / Nannies must have a Working with Children Check and current First Aid Certificate, together with a minimum of three years experience and checkable references.

Ideally you will have a current drivers licence and car as well as be a qualified childcare worker.

A commitment of at least 6 months is required for all casual and temporary positions.

How do I fly?

You need to pay for your flight to and from the UK or Europe.

Jobs successfully completed in France and Italy may attract a 50% flight bonus coming home, 50% toward an Italian Visa and the cost of attending a basic Italian class whilst in Italy.

How do I qualify?

• You must be over 18 and under 30.
• You must have 3 Childcare references.
• You must have two years Childcare experience.
• You must have a current First-Aid certificate.
• As of 2007 you must have a current Victorian Working With Children police check.
• You will need a working Visa or a European or British Passport or Residency Visa.
• You need a Driver's License.
• You must be prepared to stay with a family for at least 6 months but preferably a minimum of a year or longer.
• There is a non refundable administration fee charged at time of interview and a further fee charged once you are accepted into the Agency.  This is currently $200.00 in total.
