Today Placement Solutions  was pleased to speak to  our submission to the Australian Productivity Commission Into Childcare. As CEO and original owner and operator of the business, I spoke to 4 main  points, two of which concerned the Australian Nanny industry in general  and two that are specific to In home care.

Placement Solutions CEO Louise Dunham and Nanny of the Year Ms Clare Carisle Stranger were interviewed for an article that appeared in The Age on Sunday March the 23rd.

The article reports on Ms Stranger's success as Nanny of the Year in Australia and being short listed for the International Nanny of the Year competition to be announced in Los Angeles on March the 27th.

Australia will be represented at the International Nanny Association (INA) annual conference by Louise Dunham who is on the INA board.

 

Sharing the love – call to make nannies more affordable

Making in-home care more affordable through extended nanny rebates and the promotion of ‘nanny sharing’ should be a focus of the Productivity Commission, industry expert Louise Dunham said today after the release of the Commission’s issues paper.
