The McMillan Shakespeare Group (a large salary package and novated lease provider) argues that the Commonwealth should...
"Allow parents the option of claiming an income tax deduction under the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (the ITAA 1997) for childcare fees in lieu of claiming a combined CCB/CCR entitlement. "
Additionally the group argues for a revised approach to the fringe benefits tax treatment of corporate child care costs.
