Experienced Household Manager in Moonee Ponds | HMBRAO

A warm and busy family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Household Manager to support the smooth running of their home and family life.
The family consists of two working parents, two young children, and an older family dog. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, reducing mental load, and implementing systems that help a household run efficiently. The family is looking for someone who can bring calm, structure, initiative, and follow-through into the home.


🧩About the Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of household logistics, administration, organisation, and meal management, allowing the family to spend more quality time together rather than constantly managing tasks and household admin.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly capable, solutions-focused, and confident working autonomously. The family is looking for someone who can anticipate needs, improve systems, and independently manage tasks from start to finish with minimal direction.


🔹Key Responsibilities
• Meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
• Preparing healthy meals and food options for the children
• Pantry, fridge, and household stock management to minimise food waste
• Household organisation and decluttering
• Running errands including pharmacy visits, dry cleaning collection/drop-off, alterations, and general shopping
• Managing family schedules, calendars, and appointments
• Researching and comparing products/services and making recommendations
• Creating and maintaining practical household systems and processes
• General household administration and support
• The family also has an older inside dog- friendly and non-aggressive, though can be excitable when first meeting people -occasional dog walking may be requested


🌟The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Previous experience as a Household Manager or in a similar role
• Exceptional organisation and time-management skills
• Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
• Excellent research and problem-solving abilities
• A proactive mindset with strong follow-through and execution skills
• Confidence managing multiple priorities and family logistics
• Experience supporting busy or neurodivergent households highly regarded
• A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

The family is seeking someone who can use their previous Household Management experience, together with onboarding and guidance around the household’s current challenges, to proactively anticipate needs and create effective solutions. This role is best suited to someone who is highly autonomous, organised, and execution-focused rather than someone who requires detailed instruction on what to do and how to do it.
