🌿We are seeking a reliable, proactive Household Manager to support the smooth running of our home in Preston. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, empathetic, and proactive.

Busy family of four seeking a reliable and proactive Household Manager / Housekeeper to help maintain and manage household operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, takes initiative, and enjoys supporting the daily running of a home.

🧩 About the Role
This family of four, two adults and two young children and a cat, are seeking a reliable and organized individual to assist with managing their household. Mum is at home with the kids, and Dad works from home but will frequently be in and out of the house for meetings. They are looking for someone to help maintain a tidy, well-organized home and provide occasional support with meal preparation and the kids.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Shopping & Cooking: Manage grocery shopping and meal preparation.

  • Errands & Deliveries: Run errands and oversee deliveries, including coordinating with tradespeople such as the pool maintenance team.

  • Holiday House Management: Attend to the holiday house, including setting up and packing down as required.

  • Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the home, including regular upkeep of outdoor areas.

  • Household Operations: Oversee general household functions and manage daily tasks as needed.

  • Scheduling & Communication: Create and maintain a household manual, communication book, and an organized schedule/agenda.

  • Leave Coordination: Align leave with the family’s schedule.

  • Experience: Previous experience in household management or housekeeping is preferred.
