A welcoming family in Melbourne's inner south-east is seeking an experienced Night Nanny to provide overnight support as they welcome their first baby. 

Commencing in February 2027, this is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and knowledgeable newborn professional who enjoys supporting first-time parents during the early weeks and months of their parenting journey. 

📌About the Role 
Responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive overnight care for a newborn.
Feeding, settling, changing, and soothing the baby throughout the night.
Supporting the development of healthy sleep habits and routines.
Educating and guiding first-time parents on newborn care, including sleep cues, swaddling, feeding, and settling techniques.
Assisting with light baby-related household duties during quieter periods.
Creating a calm, nurturing, and supportive environment for the family overnight. 

🌟 Ideal Educator Profile
The successful applicant will:
Have extensive experience caring for newborns.
Be calm, patient, nurturing, and highly organised.
Enjoy mentoring and supporting first-time parents.
Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication skills, and respect for family privacy.
Be a non-smoker with high standards of personal presentation and hygiene. 

✨Essential Requirements
Proven experience providing overnight newborn care.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Qualifications in nursing, midwifery, maternity care, or significant newborn nanny experience are highly regarded.
Excellent professional references.
