Nanny Educator | Newport VIC | 12 Hours per week | NALAC

We are seeking a patient, kind and reliable Nanny to provide support to a neurodiverse teenager during her online learning days from home.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys providing companionship, encouragement and gentle guidance while supporting a young person’s independence. The role is relatively light, as the young person is quite autonomous, however we are looking for someone who is comfortable providing structure, reassurance and encouragement when needed.

📌About the Role:
The successful candidate will support a teenager during her home-based learning days, including:

Being present and available while she completes online learning
Encouraging focus, organisation and engagement with her learning routine
Preparing snacks, lunch and assisting with dinner preparation
Providing companionship and positive support throughout the day
Completing light household tasks such as occasional ironing
Potentially assisting with transport to appointments such as allied health sessions when required

There may be some downtime during the day, making this role suitable for someone who is studying or enjoys a quieter work environment.

Care will not be required during school holidays.
