🗓️ Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri / Split Shift 7am -10am & 12pm to 6pm

👪  About the Family

A busy household with two full time working parents.  We need support in a lot of areas - and one of the fundamental requirements is to be flexible and work with us as needed – rather than just on specific tasks.  We seek commitment and diligence to make sure we (and our son) have the best chance of a successful – low stress – life!

🧒 About the Children
He is an extraordinary young boy with a rare condition. He’s non-verbal with an intellectual disability and needs support with mobility and is a full time wheel chair user.  He’s full of charm and loves music, The Wiggles, and spending time at the park. He is entering Grade 6 at a local primary school, and will transition to a partial enrolment at a specialist school as well, where he has many friends and enjoys a happy, fulfilled life with the right support.

🌟 Ideal Educator Profile
- Always on time (minutes make a difference)
- Well – and vaccinated (Or willing)
- A fun and engaging personality and an ability to work with and build bonds with people on behalf of both parents and child
- Strong and open communication
- Australian citizenship or permanent rights to work
- A strong and healthy body which you maintain and not put yourself at risk.  This is a physical role and you must plan, take time and be careful
- Interested in a role in caring or allied field.  The training requirements for this job are huge – we do seek long term commitments to this type of work
- Have experience with kids – special needs or diverse preferred but not required
- Be not squeamish – this child uses continence support – this is a fact of life
