A wonderful opportunity is available for an experienced, nurturing and reliable Nanny to join a warm family and provide dedicated daytime care for their beautiful 9-week-old baby.

The family is looking for someone who is confident and knowledgeable with newborns and who takes a calm, responsive and safety-focused approach to care.

They are looking for someone who will become a trusted and supportive presence within their home.The successful nanny will be caring for their young baby and will play an important role in supporting the family's day-to-day wellbeing during this busy stage of family life.


👶 Childcare Responsibilities
Providing warm, nurturing and attentive care
Preparing and providing feeds, including formula as directed
Burping and settling the baby
Following the family's established sleep and settling routines
Putting the baby down for naps in accordance with safe-sleep guidelines
Changing nappies and maintaining the baby's comfort throughout the day
Recognising and responding appropriately to the baby's hunger, tiredness and other cues
Engaging in age-appropriate activities such as tummy time and simple sensory play
Taking the baby on short outings when agreed with the family
Providing regular updates regarding feeds, naps, nappies and settling
Communicating promptly about any concerns or changes
Maintaining a tidy and organised baby environment
Washing and sterilising bottles
Assisting with baby laundry
Light meal preparation would be appreciated where time allows

You will have:

  • A minimum 3 years' full-time experience in the Childcare Industry working as a Nanny, Child Carer, Child Educator or in similar positions
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate issued in Australia
  • Current Victorian Working With Children Check for Employees
  • National Police Clearance issued within 12 months in Australia
  • Permanent Australian residency or a valid working visa
  • Flexibility, commitment and a great work ethic
  • Full vaccination status
