Schedule: 2–3 days per week, Approximately 8:30am–3:30pm, with some flexibility
Days: Monday–Friday, depending on the nanny’s availability

An opportunity is available for a nurturing and experienced Nanny to join a warm, busy family and provide care for their happy and affectionate toddler.

The family is looking for someone who will form a genuine connection with their child, support his development through engaging play and activities, and become a trusted and consistent part of the family’s routine.

👪 About the Family
This is a warm family with one young child. Both parents are busy with work, with one parent primarily working from home.

Their toddler is described as happy, affectionate and curious. He particularly enjoys books, outdoor play and developmental activities.

The family also has a friendly cat, so the successful candidate should be comfortable around pets.

📌About the Role
The family is looking for a nanny who can provide 2–3 days of care per week, generally between 8:30am and 3:30pm, with some flexibility around the nanny’s availability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive and engaging care, following the child's established routine and supporting his development.

👶 Childcare Responsibilities
Providing nurturing and attentive care throughout the day
Engaging in age-appropriate developmental play and activities
Reading, singing, playing and exploring outdoors
Supporting the child's daily routine, including meals and naps
Preparing simple meals and snacks for the child
Taking the child on age-appropriate outings and activities
Supporting his language and developmental milestones
Tidying up after the child and assisting with light household tasks during nap time
Following the family's routines and instructions
Maintaining a safe, positive and engaging environment
The Child's Routine

The child currently has one nap per day, with wake windows generally around 2–3 hours.

His routine is still developing and the family is looking for a nanny who is comfortable following his cues while maintaining consistency and structure throughout the day.

Greek language skills would be a bonus, as the family would love someone who can help introduce and develop Greek vocabulary through everyday interactions.

Current Working with Children Check
Current Police Check
First Aid certification
Current CPR certification
Current driver's licence

You will have:

  • A minimum 3 years' full-time experience in the Childcare Industry working as a Nanny, Child Carer, Child Educator or in similar positions
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate issued in Australia
  • Current Victorian Working With Children Check for Employees
  • National Police Clearance issued within 12 months in Australia
  • Permanent Australian residency or a valid working visa
  • Flexibility, commitment and a great work ethic
  • Full vaccination status
