👪 A caring foster family in Boronia is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker/Nanny to assist with the care of Lolita, a young child diagnosed with global developmental delay, with possible cerebral palsy and cortical vision impairment.
Child requires full support with feeding, mobility, and daily routines. She receives ongoing NDIS supports including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physiotherapy. The family is looking for someone patient, gentle, and experienced in caring for children with additional needs.
🧩 About the Role
The Support Worker/Nanny will provide one-on-one weekend care, ensuring child's comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing while engaging her in calm, sensory-based activities.
⏰ The role involves:
Supporting with feeding, positioning, and mobility
Providing reassurance, comfort, and consistent emotional care
Engaging her in age- and ability-appropriate sensory or play activities
Following care routines and therapist guidance
Maintaining a safe and positive environment in the home

Experience supporting children with developmental or physical disabilities
Familiar with NDIS and therapy-based care preferred

You will have:
- A minimum 3 years' full-time experience in the Childcare Industry working as a Nanny, Child Carer, Child Educator or in similar positions
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate issued in Australia
- Current Victorian Working With Children Check for Employees
- National Police Clearance issued within 12 months in Australia
- Permanent Australian residency or a valid working visa
- Flexibility, commitment and a great work ethic
- Full vaccination status
