This family is a warm and loving family who value connection, outdoor play, and creativity. They enjoy spending time outside, even when it gets a little messy! There are two young children — one of whom has additional needs — and they are looking for a caring professional who can provide calm, consistent, and responsive support within their home.

🧒 About the Children
14 months old boy and 3 years old girl.

⏰ Routine:
Providing attentive care for both children
Preparing simple meals and snacks (e.g., sandwiches, fruit)
Administering medication (not complex)
Supporting routines and engaging in creative, child-led play
Occasionally attending therapy appointments (with prior notice)
Encouraging outdoor play and short local walks (up to 2km round trip)
Supporting communication (bonus if you know or are interested in Key Word Sign or PODD communication systems)



🌟 Ideal Educator Profile
We’re seeking a Nanny Educator to provide nurturing care and developmental support for the children. The role involves assisting with daily routines, play-based learning, and supporting the children’s individual needs in a flexible home environment.

Candidate:
Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated
Responsive and attuned to children’s cues
Reliable, consistent, and communicative
Kind and gentle while maintaining healthy boundaries
Physically able to lift and support a larger toddler
Comfortable engaging in outdoor activities
Fully vaccinated (required due to medical vulnerability within the family)
Experienced with children who have additional needs is preferred

You will have:

  • A minimum 3 years' full-time experience in the Childcare Industry working as a Nanny, Child Carer, Child Educator or in similar positions
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate issued in Australia
  • Current Victorian Working With Children Check for Employees
  • National Police Clearance issued within 12 months in Australia
  • Permanent Australian residency or a valid working visa
  • Flexibility, commitment and a great work ethic
  • Full vaccination status
